Experience

Sari has worked as a registered psychologist since 2012 and has recently upgraded her skills by completing a Masters in Clinical Psychology. She has experience in and understanding of both private and public mental health settings and works in collaboration with clients’ medical and clinical providers as needed.  Sari’s previous career as a registered nurse and midwife aids her understanding of medical/perinatal concerns which clients may also be dealing with.

Sari particularly enjoys…

  • Seeing clients find the strength and courage to take that next step, no matter how small, towards thriving again, when faced with difficulties.

  • Helping clients find goals and a sense of purpose to drive them towards something new when life has thrown them off their anticipated course.

Therapeutic style

“I endeavour to bring a warm collaborative style to a personalised assessment and treatment approach, with the aim to understand and support individuals to live meaningful lives. I provide a safe space for clients through a warm and supportive interpersonal style, focused on developing a secure therapeutic relationship, and tailoring my approach to suit each individual’s needs. I view each person as unique and important, aiming to help clients understand the underlying functions of their difficulties and support them to change, heal and develop new ways of relating to themselves and others”.
